Gareth received his degree and qualified as an Architect at Cardiff University. Before joining Smith Caradoc-Hodgkins Architects he worked in a number of London based practices gaining extensive experience in job running in a variety of sectors, including hotel and residential developments. Notably, he has played a key role in a number of high-end retail projects across London, including Emporio Armani’s flagship store in New Bond Street.
With the practice Gareth has worked primarily on conversions and redevelopments. He was involved in the pre-contract stages of the
John Adams Hall project and a significant part of the Chinatown redevelopment. Currently he leads a large team working on the design, planning and implementation stages of the Courtyard and NCP buildings, Covent Garden.
Gareth is an excellent team leader. His interests are in construction and refurbishment and his expertise is in thorough and professional implementation of both smaller scale and major construction projects, and developing client/consultant relationships.
