Little Venice

Project Information

Little Venice

These six concrete tower blocks situated around Harrow Road in North London form a significant part of the Warwick and Brindley estate. They provide an enormous amount of residential accommodation and are also of huge visual influence across the site. Built in the late 1960’s these towers are now becoming dilapidated and forming areas for crime and community neglect.

Our proposal tackled these issues by creating smaller districts organized around each tower.  With a new visible boundary, residents can get a clearer grasp of their ownership and individuality from other public areas.  We also repopulated the ground floor level with new housing and landscaping which helps with security by providing constant surveillance.

Our proposals were for CityWest Homes, part of the urban regeneration scheme for the area.
