23 Grafton Street

Project Information

23 Grafton Street
Mayfair, London W1

23 Grafton Street is an 18th century mid terrace building and is one of three consecutive Grade II Listed Buildings (21-23 inclusive).  The likely Architect is Samuel Wyatt.  The street forms a visual continuation of Dover Street to its south.

The façade is two bay brick house, one normal Georgian window and one Venetian window at ground and first floors.  The first floor window has unusual relieving arches.  The interior contains a dramatic central stone stair from ground to first floors.

We improved accessibility within the building to create an efficient mixed use building in keeping within the local area. The works included the introduction of an improved basement to ground floor stair, upgrading WCs at all levels and the installation of new lift accessibility within the building.
